KPMG significantly expands legal services footprint in Asia Pacific with ZICO Law firms
More than 275 lawyers across Southeast Asia join KPMG legal firms, giving the global organization an extensive legal footprint in Asia Pacific, and bringing coverage globally to 84 jurisdictions.
7 December 2022: Global organization, KPMG International, has announced that a number of law firms and teams from the ZICO Law network have joined its network of firms.
The deal will see more than 275 lawyers join over 2,900 legal professionals in the KPMG global organization, creating a significant legal footprint across Asia Pacific. It will offer legal services and solutions, a globally connected legal services platform, and specialists who work with leading technology providers to modernize legal functions across organizations.

For the KPMG global organization, the overall agreement with the firms in the ZICO Law network increases the total number of legal professionals to close to 3,200 across 84 jurisdictions, all working to help support clients as they navigate the increasing strategic and economic importance of the Asia Pacific region.”

The team of Zico lawyers will join more than 50 legal professionals currently at KPMG Law in Thailand. The agreement will be implemented in such a way that is consistent with meeting local legal and regulatory requirements.
