CIMB THAI notifies the resignation of Director and President & CEO

CIMB THAI Bank has notified the Stock Exchange of Thailand of the resignation of its Director and President & CEO.  At its special meeting no. 1/2020, held on 18 June 2020, CIMB THAI Bank Board of Directors acknowledged the resignation of Mr. Adisorn Sermchaiwong from his positions as Director and President & CEO whose decision has been made after thoughtful consideration that this is a career move to a business to which his experiences and personal preference can better contribute.  The resignation will take effect from 15 September 2020 onwards.

The Board Meeting also resolved to appoint a member of the Bank’s Senior Management to serve as Acting President & CEO upon Khun Adison’s departure.  The proposed appointment is currently undergoing relevant approval processes. Once relevant approvals are received, further information will be provided.
