Huawei preparing to open the Academy Build IT people to support 5G

Huawei (Thailand) celebrates 20 years of business operations emphasized on bringing the most advanced technology handed over to users and paving the way to create an environment supporting new technology  in Thailand  ie openning the Academy to create IT people to enter the industry

 

Mr Abel Deng, Chairman of the Executive Board of Huawei Thailand Company Limited stated that "This year is another important year for Huawei. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of operations in Thailand after accumulating development in various areas over the past decade. We therefore have a deep understanding in the market and realize that creating the future of Thailand is important

Since its inception in Thailand in 1999, Huawei has played an important role to develop ICT infrastructure from 2G, 3G and 4G networks for Thailand continuously and also a leader in technological innovation in various areas as well.

Mr Abel Deng said, "We are proud to play an important role in helping develop ICT infrastructure for Thailand for the past 20 years. Huawei will continue to build on its determination to drive Thailand to achieve the Thailand 4.0 policy, which is in line with Huawei's vision “ to bring digital to every person, home and organization for a fully connected, intelligent world”

In addition to being a hub for Huawei's business operations in Southeast Asia, Huawei also opened the OpenLab Center in Bangkok, that  provides industry solutions for the IOT, Big Data, and cloud computing, a verification platform, and ICT training services for customers and ICT industry entrepreneurs in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Huawei currently employs 3,200 people in Thailand, of which 75 percent are Thai. Huawei's employment in Thailand is worth US $ 196 million.

 

Accelerating the innovation of digital education in Thailand

Mr Abel Deng also provided additional information on the signing of a memorandum of agreement between the Thai government and Huawei Thailand under the heading "Digital Skill Promotion Training for a Sustainable Innovation Society" which Huawei will help strengthen the sharing and transfer of knowledge. Through working with the Thai government and various industry organizations to enhance ICT capabilities for digital personnel to be ready to accelerate Thailand to Thailand 4.0

 

Huawei prepares to launch "Huawei Academy" in Thailand

The goal of the Academy is to examine and develop ICT talents, and empower Thailand 4.0. and With bleeding edge advances, for example, Cloud, AI and Supercomputing, Huawei would empower the computerized change of government divisions and enterprises, encourage Startup and SME developments, brood creative biological system dependent on 5G, and drive Thailand's advancement capacities from the base in order to collaborate to create eco-systems of the industrial sector for an intelligent society that connects flawlessly in the future.
