Air Liquide deploys Workday to support its HR transformation in APAC
Workday, a leader in enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources, announced that Air Liquide, an industry leader in gases, technologies, and services, has successfully deployed Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) to digitally transform its HR processes and capabilities across Asia Pacific (APAC), with additional global deployments. Air Liquide joins more than 4,150 global organisations who have selected Workday HCM.
At Air Liquide, HR digital transformation was envisioned as a way to streamline both business and HR operations and provide a superior employee experience and engagement. To make this a reality, Air Liquide has deployed Workday to simplify its HR operations and have a single source of real-time data for its more than 11,000-strong workforce across 13 countries in APAC.
Through Air Liquide’s MyHR platform, employees can now use Workday’s mobile and self-service capabilities to more easily access information on teams, manage compensation, time entries, holidays, and time off. The platform also helps facilitate effective onboarding of new hires and provides true visibility across the entire talent acquisition process. Adding to this, Air Liquide is currently deploying Workday Recruiting, Workday Talent Management, Workday Learning, and Workday Adaptive Planning.
With this transformative change, the French company, which was founded in 1902, will be able to overcome the challenges of having decentralised HR processes associated with legacy systems. The move to digitally transform its HR capabilities is the first of its kind in Air Liquide’s long history and has been well-received by employees in APAC. It has also been recognised as an industry leader, winning the ‘Best Use of Technology’ award at HR Fest Awards 2022.
Following this successful deployment, Air Liquide will now roll out this same technology platform design across its global operations.
