IBM opens online free courses to build up IT skills of the future
Difficulty in finding people with the right skills for the job is a problem faced by the employers around the world and it becomes a major obstacle to economic growth, according to the World Economic Forum (WEF). In order to increase the world GDP by US dollars 11.5 trillion by 2028, tech skills will be required for almost half of the jobs.
To keep pace with market demand, demographic change and the advancement of technology that continues to move forward, IBM has therefore launched more than 1,800 online courses for those who wish to enhance their skills or expand their knowledge in other fields. This is enable them to learn technology and necessary work skills by yourself with an online badge or certificate upon completion
